About Recruiting & level of activeness
Hey everyone,
First of all, I would want tell everyone that they are doing an excellent job in keeping this clan growing strong. I would like to thanks those individuals who are active, helpful, countributed to the clan, and officers that are taking their time off to test people who wanted to join the clan.
Now I would like to address two issues level of activeness and recruting. This clan level of activeness is at its all time high (very active), but mainly just on the website and forum. We need more people on battle.net!! especially officers and generals. There are people asking to join the clan every single day, and most of the time they were ignored becuase some officers weren't doing their job, and also becuase the lack of officers on. Many of you guys will have spring break, some maybe already had it, some will be 2 weeks away. A few of you might be traveling, but for those who are not, I encourage you to be active. Becuase I will, and my spring break is next week and I will spend more time on battle.net, site, and on the forum. Myself and other generals will look for those active members, if we see that you are active, friendly, helpful, and do your jobs (recruting, moderating chanels) you would likely to get a promotion from one of us.
So guys, as an officer you have a special priviledge that is the ability to recruit, use it, and use it wisely
Second, I want to talk about the ratio of the number of generals to the total members.
There will be::
One Commander for every 100 members.
One General for every 100 members.
One Lieutenant General for every 100 members.
Two Major Generals for every 100 members.
Two Brigadier Generals for every 100 members.
Right now, we have about 160 members in the clan (According to the Members Page). If some of the officers hoping to be a general someday, and moving up to higher officer ranks then I suggest you start doing your job. Now, dont interupt this wrong, I DONT want you guys just to recruit anyone, but use your judgement to see if the individual is qualified or not. Also keep in this in mind, that Clan OverDosed is open to all people who are interested in joining, but they must have strong interest in joining, NOT complete newbies, not using any kind of hacks, and the most important of all good MANNERS.
As for myself, I dont care if you are good but if you have bad manners then in my eyes you are nothing. Skill is NOT everything in this clan (Manners > Skill). I recruited few people, and as long they were very interested in joining and have good manners then I let them in.
I hope this post will encourage some of you (mianly IA officers) and will learn something from it. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to ask me.
Btw, Sorry I missed the meeting today, but Firebabe informed me what went on and the topics were discussed. Also if anything you want to discuss with me. Just send me a message on aim or pm.
Again, this is my little encouragement on recruting, becuase Ive noticed only the SAME group of people that actually are recruiting everytime.
