Racist names on bots
Yesterday, May 4, 2004, I logged on to battle.net and was startled to find a OPS bot with the name "JeWBaN". If you will read the rules it said you must not use any racist remarks. And I feel this is racist.
What made me post this news was that I was talking to a potential recruit and he didn't want to join because he thought were were racist.
I ask, if you are going to load a bot, don't put a racist name for the bot. It scares away potential recruits and defies the rules.
Thanks,
Zildjian
-JeWBaN is botooh's bot...
"racism" do you consider calling someone a jew derogatory?
And... the name of the bots actually humor recruits... the bot:player ratio is what scares them away...

This a follow up on Tool's post,
No I don't think jew is a derogatory statement, but the way it is used on B.Net it is.
And I don't see how it humors recruits... [This news was edited by Captain Zildjian(OD) on Tue May 11, 2004 00:11:17 GMT.]
